Your files stay with you

ToolboxLane is designed so supported operations happen inside your browser instead of on a remote file-processing server.

What "processed locally" means

Your browser reads the selected file, performs the requested operation, creates the output, and gives you a local download. ToolboxLane does not send the contents of a file you select into a tool marked "Processed locally" to any server.

What the website may still receive

Normal web requests include technical information such as the page requested and browser type, plus consent-based analytics events. File content, filenames, exact file sizes, image metadata, and QR payload values are never included in analytics.

Advertising

ToolboxLane may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technology to personalize ads and measure their performance. For visitors in the EU, UK, and Switzerland, ads are only personalized after you've made a choice through the on-site consent message; you can change that choice at any time. You can also review or adjust how Google personalizes ads across the web at adssettings.google.com.

What ToolboxLane does not do

  • No user accounts or billing.
  • No server-side file processing.
  • No persistent processing history.
  • No cloud document storage.

Product promise

Only tools that actually process locally display the Processed locally badge. Any future server-side tool would clearly disclose different behavior.
