Troubleshooting
Why does one of my files show "Encrypted or unreadable"? ›
That file is password-protected or damaged and can’t be merged locally. It’s skipped automatically — remove its protection first, then re-add it.
Why does the merged PDF have fewer pages than I expected? ›
Check the queue for any file marked "Encrypted or unreadable" — merging proceeds with the readable files and skips the rest, shown in a warning after merging.
