How it works

  1. Select or drop an image.
  2. Enter your watermark text and choose its position, size, and opacity.
  3. Compare the before and after preview.
  4. Download the watermarked image.

Supported formats & limitations

  • JPG / JPEG
Output preserves the source format by default.
  • PNG
Transparency is preserved outside the watermark itself.
  • WebP
Fully supported for both input and output.
  • Only text watermarks are supported — image/logo watermarks are not available yet.
  • Very small images may not have enough room for larger watermark text.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the watermark position?

Yes, choose from common positions such as the corners or center.

Can I make the watermark semi-transparent?

Yes, adjust the opacity slider before downloading.

Is my image uploaded to add the watermark?

No, the watermark is drawn locally using the Canvas API.

Troubleshooting

Why is the watermark hard to read?

Try increasing the opacity or size slider, or pick a text color with more contrast against your photo — a light watermark on a light background (or dark on dark) is easy to miss.

Why does the watermark look tiny or huge on my image?

Watermark size is set as a percentage of the image width, so very small or very large source images can make the same percentage look different in absolute terms — adjust the size slider to compensate.
