Frequently asked questions
How do I choose where to split? ›
Toggle "split after this page" on any page thumbnail — the document breaks into the sections between your markers.
What do I get back? ›
A single ZIP file containing one PDF per section.
Is the PDF uploaded to show page thumbnails? ›
No, thumbnails are rendered locally in your browser and never leave your device.
Troubleshooting
Why is the "Split" button disabled or showing an error? ›
Split needs at least one "split after this page" marker set — without one, there’s nothing to divide the document into.
Why did I only get one file in the ZIP? ›
Check that your markers weren’t all placed on the same page, or on the very last page — a marker on the final page produces no split, since there’s nothing after it.
