Frequently asked questions
Does rotating reduce image quality? ›
90° rotations and flips are pixel-preserving — there is no quality loss beyond the final re-encode step.
Can I apply multiple transforms at once? ›
Yes, rotate and flip actions stack — for example rotate 90° then flip horizontal.
Is my image uploaded? ›
No, every transform is drawn locally using the Canvas API.
Troubleshooting
Why does the downloaded image still look unrotated? ›
Make sure you click Apply after selecting a rotation or flip — the preview updates live, but the download only reflects transforms that were applied.
Why did the image dimensions change after a 90° rotation? ›
That’s expected — a 90°/270° rotation swaps the width and height of the output compared to the original.
